1. Free Trial Period
14-Day Free Trial: All new subscribers get a 14-day free trial with full access to features. No credit card required to start your trial.
- Cancel anytime during the trial with no charges
- Full feature access during trial period
- Automatic conversion to paid subscription only after trial ends
2. Subscription Refunds
Monthly Subscriptions
- First 7 Days: Full refund available for any reason
- After 7 Days: Prorated refund for unused portion of current billing cycle
- Refunds processed within 5-10 business days
Annual Subscriptions
- First 30 Days: Full refund available for any reason
- 31-90 Days: Prorated refund for unused months
- After 90 Days: No refund available (you may cancel to avoid next year's charge)
3. Service-Specific Policies
Smart Spotlight
- SaaS subscription follows standard refund policy above
- Data export available before cancellation
Remote Printer
- Service subscription follows standard refund policy
- Setup assistance included during refund period
Live Courses
Important: Live course refunds have different terms due to limited seating and instructor scheduling.
- Before Course Start: Full refund until 48 hours before course begins
- 48 Hours Before: 50% refund available
- After Course Starts: No refund, but recording access provided
- Rescheduling: Free rescheduling to future sessions (subject to availability)
4. Refund Process
To request a refund:
- Contact our support team at [email protected]
- Include your account email and reason for refund
- We'll respond within 1 business day
- Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Setup or onboarding fees (if any)
- Custom development work
- Third-party integration costs
- Live courses after they have started (recording access provided instead)
- Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
6. Chargebacks and Disputes
Before initiating a chargeback with your bank:
- Please contact our support team first
- We resolve most issues quickly without need for chargebacks
- Chargebacks may result in account suspension pending resolution
- We work with payment processors to resolve disputes fairly
7. Downgrade vs Cancellation
Alternative to Cancellation: Consider downgrading to a lower tier instead of cancelling completely.
- Immediate downgrade with prorated refund for difference
- Keep your data and settings
- Easy upgrade back to higher tier anytime
8. Force Majeure
In case of service interruptions due to circumstances beyond our control:
- Service credits for extended outages
- Full refunds for service unavailability exceeding 72 hours
- Prorated refunds for partial service availability
9. Enterprise Customers
Enterprise customers have custom refund terms outlined in their service agreement. Contact your account manager for specific terms.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this refund policy. Changes will be communicated via email to all active subscribers at least 30 days before taking effect.
